Why Justin Fields Is Primed For A Huge Third Year

Justin Fields, the quarterback of the Chicago Bears, is quickly establishing himself as one of the best young players in the NFL. Despite playing on one of the league's worst teams, Fields has proven himself to be a dynamic and talented quarterback.

One of the most impressive aspects of Fields' game is his ability to run with the football. He is a true dual-threat quarterback, capable of making big plays both with his arm and his legs. Fields' speed and agility make him a difficult player to defend, and he has already shown that he can make plays when the pocket collapses.

Another strength of Fields' game is his deep ball. He has shown a remarkable ability to hit his receivers in stride. Fields' strong arm makes him a dangerous weapon in the passing game, and he has already shown that he can make all the throws required of an NFL quarterback.

Despite playing on a team that has struggled in recent years, Fields has remained positive and focused on improving his game. He has a great work ethic, and he is always striving to get better. This attitude, combined with his natural talent, makes Fields a player to watch for many years to come.

Justin Fields is primed for a huge third year in the NFL. He's a talented young quarterback who is only going to get better with more experience and more talent around him. The Bears' cap space and head coach will give him the opportunity to take the next step in his development and become one of the best quarterbacks in the league. The Chicago Bears drafted him 11th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft and he's already shown flashes of brilliance in his first two seasons. In his rookie season, he played in 12 games, starting 8 of them, and threw for 2,855 yards, 17 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions. In his second season, he played in 15 games and had 3,385 total yards and 25 touchdowns. He was second all-time for rushing yards by a QB.

One of the main reasons why Fields is primed for a huge third year is the Bears' cap space. The team currently has over $100 million in cap space, which means they have the financial flexibility to add more talent around Fields. This could include adding more weapons for him to throw to, such as a top-tier wide receiver or tight end. They also hold the number one overall pick. They could trade this pick and upgrade the team, especially the O-Line, even more.

Fields has also continued to develop. He's only entering his third year in the NFL and he's already shown that he has the potential to be a franchise quarterback. He's a smart, athletic, and accurate quarterback who has a strong arm and can make plays with his legs. With more experience and more talent around him, Fields will only continue to improve. The new offensive of the Chicago Bears will give Fields the opportunity to thrive in his system.

Fields is a quarterback who has the potential to be a great player in the NFL. His ability to run and his arm strength is undeniable and are just some of the traits that make him one of the best young players in the league. Despite being on a struggling team, Fields has remained positive and continues to work on improving his game. With time, he has the potential to become a quarterback that could be considered a GOAT.

EDIT: The above potion was written before the news that Bears might be trading Fields?!

Hall of Famer Warren Sapp said on his podcast this week that the Bears are trying to trade Justin Fields and draft Bryce Young. WHAT! Justin Fields has already proven to be a terrific young QB. To trade him and draft a QB from a school in Alabama that has not produced a decent QB since Joe Namath.

This could be complete crap from a no-name source. The distinction, in this case, is that Hall of Famer Warren Sapp is claiming to have "heard it," which could mean anything. Yes, he could have heard it from a knowledgeable source. However, the way it was said leads me to believe otherwise. The fact that this situation has been discussed since the Bears clinched the top overall pick after the season's conclusion, leads me to believe that he heard it casually at a diner or from another type of sports talk radio show.

In my opinion, it's a non-story. I believe it to be a completely stupid decision if the Bears do move on. Although Justin Fields still has the stuff to work on, he is the closest the Bears have ever been to having a guy at QB. It's a perfect way for GM Ryan Poles to be fired and curse the Bears franchise forever to decide to trade Fields for another brand-new lottery ticket that will probably not hit.

Another Edit: The Chicago Bears Are Committed To The Future With Justin Fields, And Will Trade The First Pick In This Year's Draft.

If I told you a 23-year-old quarterback had a season in which he passed for 2,242 yards while completing 60.4 percent of his throws, threw 17 touchdowns and 11 interceptions, you'd believe me. You'd think that's pretty good, right? While also running for a league-leading 1,143 yards and eight touchdowns.

Yes. You would. Unless you're a stupid or a blatant hater. Or both.

This is the smart choice.

Whatever the case may be, you're dumb if you dispute that the quarterback is the issue, Justin Fields, had a terrific to fantastic season this past year.

The poor kid played behind one of the worst offensive lines in sports, with almost no weapons to help him. I feel silly even using the phrase weapons because, as excellent as Cole Khmet and Mooney are, they are far from game-changers or defensive threats. Yes, the Bears have a strong run game, but Chicago is Chicago, and no matter who is in charge here, they refuse to build the offense on the run.

Regardless, the Bears are high on the kid enough to stop drinking the Bryce Young kool-aid and trading Fields, but rather looking to trade the #1 pick for a king's ransom. Smart.
