I'm going to try and say nice things about Tom Brady. As a Jets fan, this is hard but he deserves it...

Tom Brady, widely considered one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the NFL, has officially retired from the NFL. Throughout his two-decade-long career, he has a stunning list of accolades and achievements, cementing his legacy as one of the all-time greats.

Brady was drafted by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft and quickly established himself as a star in the league. Over the next two decades, he would lead the Patriots to an unprecedented level of success, including six Super Bowl championships, nine Super Bowl appearances, and 17 AFC East division titles. Sorry Jet fans. Brady joined the Buccaneers in 2020 and won his seventh Super Bowl. He spent the previous three seasons with Tampa Bay, leading the Buccaneers to the playoffs each year.

One of the key elements of Brady's success was his incredible work ethic and attention to detail. He reportedly spent countless hours studying film, perfecting his technique, and preparing for each game with the utmost focus and dedication. This, combined with his natural talent and competitive spirit, made him a formidable opponent on the field.

Brady holds the all-time NFL record for regular-season victories (251), Super Bowl appearances (10), playoff games and wins (48, 35), playoff yards (13,400), and playoff touchdowns (88).

In addition to his on-field success, Brady also earned widespread respect for his leadership and sportsmanship. He was a leader on and off the field, setting a positive example for his teammates and fans alike.

Another remarkable aspect of Brady's career was his longevity. Despite facing a series of major injuries and challenges over the years, he continued to perform at an extremely high level well into his 40s, a testament to his determination and fitness.

As Brady enters retirement, it is clear that his impact on the NFL and the game of football will be felt for many years to come. He leaves behind a legacy of excellence, championships, and unparalleled success that will inspire future generations of players and fans alike.

Tom Brady will be remembered as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, and his impact on the sport of football will continue to be felt for years to come, despite losing to Mark Sanchez in the playoffs. His work ethic, leadership, competitiveness, and longevity will serve as a model for aspiring players, and his numerous achievements and championships will always be remembered as a testament to his greatness. The GOAT.

What's Next for the Buccaneers at QB?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have seen a lot of success in recent years, with the legendary quarterback Tom Brady leading the team to a Super Bowl championship in 2020. However, with Brady's recent retirement, the Buccaneers are now faced with the challenge of finding a new quarterback to lead their team. So, what's next for the Buccaneers at QB after Tom Brady's retirement?

Tampa Bay is currently projected to be $55 million over the cap for this upcoming season. They only have one quarterback under contract for next season, Kyle Trask. So far, we haven't seen nearly enough of him. Star quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Daniel Jones are unlikely to leave their current teams, and the Buccaneers don't have nearly enough salary space to afford them anyhow. As a result, quarterbacks who are likely to be moved, such as Aaron Rodgers and Derek Carr, are unlikely to head to Tampa Bay. So Trask, an experienced journeyman who is cheap, and maybe another QB from the Draft will battle for the job.

At this point, one has to question whether the Bucs will start selling off players in exchange for future assets. Mike Evans, a Buccaneer for life, comes to mind as someone who may be moved depending on how the team is heading. A lot will be determined in what should be an exciting off-season.
